My dog is only a year old and I've probably purchased 10 packs of these Yak Chews already. Not only does my dog love them (and never seems to get tired of them!) but they bring some sense of peace to my life. Especially when Nimmy was going through his teen stage, this was the only thing that worked to keep him busy long enough that I didn't feel like I was going insane.... He can just sit and chew on this for hours without getting bored. Whenever I take him to a restaurant or somewhere he has to sit for long periods of time in public, I always pop one of these in my bag and I can be assured he'll be on his best behavior where ever we are since he's preoccupied with his Yak Chew the whole time. What I love about them as the human is that they don't smell and are pretty clean! I've tried a lot of other types of chews but often they get slimy and nasty and end up all over my furniture and carpet. These Yak Chews are pretty much odorless and not too messy (there's definitely some crumbs every now and then, but it's the cleanest chew I've come across to date). I'm obsessed with these and my dog is too - it's probably one of our holy grail dog treats to be honest. I would 10/10 recommend giving them a try if you're looking for a long lasting, mess free chew.
My Dobermans love these; I only let them chew for 20-30 minutes on a rainy day when they need to exert energy! Both of them are hard chewers and the fact that you can heat them up when they get small and then they become crunchy is amazing. I allow 20-30 minutes of chewing because most not all Dobermans have sensitive stomachs and to much of one thing can change their stools. Love these!!!!
Remi is 8 months and so busy . I get 30 min when I give him yak chew. Jax is 8 y old and loves them just as much. My favorite is I don’t have to waits small pieces. I put it in water and microwave.
My Chihuahua cannot stop chewing on it. She loves it. She tried to sneak it to bed last night. Thanks for a great product.

When talking about calories for dog treats, we use kcals as a unit of calorie content. Each yak chew size has a different amount of calories. Our small chews are about 100 kcals per chew, medium chews are about 220 kcals per chew, large chews are about 380 kcals per chew, and extra large chews are about 510 kcals per chew.
