Omega Oil for Cats
Cat Omega Oil is a blend of pollock, tuna, herring, anchovy, and sardine oils that provides a rich source of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. These fatty acids compete with more pro-inflammatory fatty acids in the body, helping shift processes toward less-inflammatory pathways, with benefits for heart, kidney, joint, and skin health.
Our five-oil blend is formulated to deliver a concentrated dose of EPA and DHA — a 2 mL daily serving provides about 441.6 mg of combined EPA and DHA, among the higher concentrations available for cats.
We recommend 2 mL daily for a ~10 lb cat. Adjust proportionally for your cat's weight, and always ease into the full serving during the first week.
Cat Omega Oil is formulated for adult cats. If you have a kitten, we recommend checking with your veterinarian before starting any new supplement.
Yes! You can safely combine Cat Omega Oil with other Native Pet cat products. We always recommend starting with a lower serving and easing into the full serving when introducing something new to your cat's routine.
We cannot guarantee the quality of other brands' products, and we always recommend consulting your veterinarian when it comes to combining supplements with your cat's medication.
Cat Omega Oil is made from a blend of wild-caught fish oils for a natural fish flavor cats find palatable.
All Native Pet products are formulated in collaboration with Board-certified veterinarians.
