My dog will not eat it unless I mix it with water and yogurt or something like that which is crazy to have to do. Also, I realize one container is 30 scoops, but that’s only 10 days worth and you’re supposed to up to six scoops after that so this double packet barely lasts not even a month so I’m not thrilled with it and quite honestly it doesn’t seem that my dog notices much of a difference or I notice much of a difference in him.
We’ve been using Native Pet Senior Daily for our senior dog who has lupus, joint stiffness, and medication-related sensitivities, and it’s been a really great addition to his routine.
As an older dog with more complex health needs, we’re always cautious about what we add in, but this supplement covers a lot of important areas in one product. We especially appreciate the joint support (collagen has helped with some stiffness), as well as the added support for brain and heart health with ingredients like DHA, taurine, and CoQ10.
One of the biggest benefits for us has been the digestive support—our dog’s medications can sometimes upset his stomach, and the probiotics and fiber have helped keep things more balanced. We’ve also noticed it’s been gentle on his skin, which is important since lupus can make him more sensitive.
Overall, it’s been an easy way to support his overall health without needing multiple separate supplements. Definitely worth considering for other senior dogs or pups with similar health challenges (always check with your vet first). 🐾💙
I have 3 seniors and they all LOVE this stuff! Even my picky girl is obsessed!!
My package was delayed again on my subscription order, and every Native Pet order since they moved to using Amazon Shipping has been delayed at least by 3 or more days (sometimes up to a week). I noticed that the scoop was also changed to what I can assume is a “cheaper” design to use less material but gives the handle a poor quality feel. Hoping the ingredients and quality of the actual supplement remains unchanged! It’s small but is an issue at the price I’m paying for my dogs’ supplements and subsequent health.
