I was sent a tin of Native Pet Hairball chews to try with my cats, and I'll be honest — I braced for the usual sniff-and-walk-away routine. That is not what happened.
The tabby went straight for them, and the gray one (pictured) licked the paper plate clean afterward. Tasty chicken flavor, apparently irresistible.
They're small soft chews — one per pound of body weight, given with meals — with miscanthus fiber and postbiotics for digestion and hairball control. Vet developed, clean ingredients, and the tin seals up nicely.
Too early for a full verdict on the hairball front, but the taste test passed with flying colors. I'll update once we've worked through the tin.
Hairball for Cats
Cat Hairball combines dietary fiber (miscanthus grass) with a skin-health postbiotic to help reduce the frequency and severity of hairballs. The insoluble fiber helps bind and move loose swallowed fur through the digestive tract so it passes in stool instead of forming a hairball, while the postbiotic supports gut health and, through the gut-skin axis, healthy skin and coat to help support normal shedding.
Give one pillow per pound of body weight, daily. We always recommend easing into the full serving size during the first week.
