I have tried many calm chews over the last few years for my overstimulated rescue. Some are more effective then others, some have caused her to vomit, but she wasnt willing to eat any of them without me crumbling them up in a wet food mixutre. She takes these like she’s getting a treat - no hesitation. She’s calmer throughout the day without acting fatigue like she does with others. Plus the fact it’s much cleaner ingredients.. it only took a few days of these to decide that we’ll start transitioning her supplements to Native Pet’s products.
Native calm has helped tremendously for my shepherd who does not like fireworks or thunder. He is an extremely picky eater and would eat the whole bag of these at once if I let him. Highly recommended to anyone who has a nervous pup that needs to take the edge off a little bit

My dogs love these and they help for storms and grooming, will see about vet visits, since they haven't had one yet since starting these.
The texture of these treats are so hard my 40lbs puppy wont eat them unless i cut them up with scissors. Oddly the longer the bag has been open the softer they get but still not soft enough on their own. Unsure if they help but they are now part of our evening crate routine

Our Calm Chews help manage your dog’s behavior under stressful situations. Our proprietary formula contains L-theanine, melatonin, alpha-casozepine (hydrolyzed casein), and hemp seed powder, each of which have a proven body of research that show their calming impact on canines. Alpha-casozepine, derived from casein, has calming properties, while hemp seed powder provides essential fatty acids to support overall calm and well-being.

We recommend giving one Calm Chew daily for every 25lbs of body weight. A 10lbs dog would receive one chew daily. A 40lbs dog would receive two chews daily. We always recommend easing into the full serving size during the first week. Calm Chews can be given with a meal or as a treat.
We recommend Calm Chews for any dog over 3 months old. Puppies are naturally a bit more spirited, so you don't want to use our calm chews to suppress that. Our calm chews are best for travel, big storms, fireworks, and other instances during which your dog needs to be calm.
Yes! You can safely give Calm Chews with any other Native Pet product. We always recommend starting with a lower serving and easing into the full serving when introducing new products to your dog’s diet and when combining new supplements.
