My dog loves all 3 Native Pet dog chews that I buy for her. And the Calm Chews really help her at the end of the day. I also use them to calm her on long road trips. My only gripe is not with the product itself but with the packaging and the design of the pull mechanism -- it's hard/impossible to pull across and never works for me! It's very frustrating and I end up just cutting the top off.
This is the only treat that my dog will immediately responds to a request/command. He is so stubborn otherwise.

Our Calm Chews help manage your dog’s behavior under stressful situations. Our proprietary formula contains L-theanine, melatonin, alpha-casozepine (hydrolyzed casein), and hemp seed powder, each of which have a proven body of research that show their calming impact on canines. L-theanine helps balance the GABA/glutamate receptors and, in turn, help your dog remain calm in stressful situations. Melatonin, a natural hormone, works closely with the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS), helping your dog feel more at ease during times of stress. Alpha-casozepine, derived from casein, has calming properties, while hemp seed powder provides essential fatty acids to support overall calm and well-being.

We recommend giving one Calm Chew daily for every 25lbs of body weight. A 10lbs dog would receive one chew daily. A 40lbs dog would receive two chews daily. We always recommend easing into the full serving size during the first week. Calm Chews can be given with a meal or as a treat.
We recommend Calm Chews for any dog over 6 months old. Puppies are naturally a bit more spirited, so you don't want to use our calm chews to suppress that. Our calm chews are best for travel, big storms, fireworks, and other instances during which your dog needs to be calm.
Yes! You can safely give Calm Chews with any other Native Pet product. We always recommend starting with a lower serving and easing into the full serving when introducing new products to your dog’s diet and when combining new supplements.
